1 Corinthians 10:31 NKJV

Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.

Perhaps you are hosting a party. Perhaps you are going to an event. No doubt, it’s especially enjoyable amidst the festivities of Christmas. In the back of your mind there’s a nagging voice that reminds you of the reason for the season. You try to ignore it because all you want to do is have a good time with family and friends. When did we start to think that being Christian meant that you could no longer have any fun? You don’t have to feel like a “Party pooper” if you don’t get drunk or eat to excess. True joy does not take the form of losing self control. True joy occurs when you know there’s only One person that matters and deserves your time , affection and attention. Freedom to be who He created you to be is something quite different to, “performing for attention.”
